Ok so I wanted something that was gonna be cheap but look as real as possible.

I have heard of using great stuff foam and making innards with it.

So I decided to give it a try. I was surprisingly impressed.

Here's how I made them.

Ok so start with any flat surface, I used a piece of particle board.

take the GS (Great Stuff) and hold the spray end about 1/2 inch away from the board your spraying on.

pull the trigger and go back and forth as large as you want the entrails to go.

Keep in mind, the foam will expand while it dries. The foam will be about 2 to 3 times the size of original size when dry.

I would recommend making several different ones and also making other shapes. I made a few that kind of resemble

hearts and lungs. (yeah im a sicko) Just experiment with it and figure out what you like. You can also pick the nozzle up a bit and over lap the

foam streams. 

Once the foam is dry about a day later, you can use a plastic putty knife to scoop under the foam to get it off.

make sure you push the putty knife as far as you can and against the wood to keep from messing up the sides of the foam.

I took a bucky skeleton upper torso that I purchased at a Halloween store for a few buck and added guts to it.

By taking the GS and spraying it inside the chest cavity in overlapping loops coming down to the bottom. The

foam sticks to anything really really well, a little too well. NOTE: don't get this stuff in your hair, or your kids hair. hehe oops!

Ok, So now that everything is dry, you want to use a medium red color to put a good base down. (water base paint)

Be SURE the first paint you use is water based paint, if not the paint may eat the foam.

I used water based airbrush paint and painted the whole piece with the medium red.

Make sure to paint the sides and even the corners of the back to make sure that the whole piece that will be seen is covered.

You want to let the first coat dry about 5 or 10 min.

Then using a Dark blood colored paint I dripped the paint on the foam while blowing air through the airbrush to make

the paint splatter. I also would drip a few drops on the foam and then stray it with the airbrush to make veins.

Then take black gloss spray-paint, before the dark red has dried and just mist the foam in a few places to give it a darker blood look.

You want to hold the can about 1 foot away from the foam, if not it will spray total black over your paint. You only want to mist it.

Just pick random spots to mist.

Ok, now you want to take a clear coat spray-paint and saturate the whole piece. For best results, spray the clear coat before the dark red and black are dry. This will give it a great effect for high detail. Cant explain it, it looks Awesome!

Let dry over night, then your done...

Now you can take these disgusting beauties and lay them where ever you want to make a nasty scene.

I figure they would look good trailing a corpse that is crawling across the graveyard.
